CIE IT Qualifications

CIE Level 4 Diploma in Information Technology (120 Credits)

Mandatory Units:

Unit 1: Information Technology

Unit 2: Business and Information System

 

Optional Units:

Unit 1: Web Development

Unit 2: Networking

Unit 3: Programming

Unit 4: Database

Unit 5: Entrepreneurship

Unit 6: Personal & Professional Development

 

Each unit has a credit value of 20 credits. To achieve the qualification, learners are required to complete 2 mandatory units and any 4 optional units. 

 

Entry Requirements: 

- Any Level 3 qualification or equivalent

- IELTS 5.0 or equivalent (recommended)

 

All CIE qualifications are very flexible and designed to enable learners from aged 19 and above to move forward towards their higher education, career and employment. Learners are required to demonstrate their ability, fitness and commitment to undertake CIE qualifications and centres are required to assess that based on learners educational and professional background, trainings and experience.

 

CIE Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (120 Credits)

Unit 1: Advanced Web Development

Unit 2: Mobile Technology

Unit 3: Advanced Programming

Unit 4: Advanced Database

Unit 6: Business and Enterprise Management

 

Each unit has a credit value of 20 credits. To achieve the qualification, learners are required to complete 2 mandatory units and any 4 optional units.
